For the last two decades, we've been focused on helping people with dog nutrition and behavior. We'd love to talk with you about your dog, and any questions or delights she may have presented you with. In the meantime, we've put together some information that may be helpful.

Dogs Need to Chew

Besides being fun, chewing helps puppies and dogs keep their teeth and gums healthy. Safe chews and toys can keep plaque from building up on the teeth and prevent bad breath. Chewing also alleviates boredom, loneliness and stress, and regular access to chew toys and treats can keep dogs from destroying shoes, furniture and other inappropriate objects.

Retrieved and Rescued: Sebastian Recovers

When Sebastian, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, was found abandoned in the woods of Western Washington, he weighed in at a dangerously low 70 lbs, had ear mites, an injured leg, and severe demodectic mange resulting in scabs, scratches and very little hair. After finding a forever home with his humans Samantha and Dave and their dog Bella, Sebastian became a beloved member of their family immediately. While maintaining his medicine regimen for mange, Samantha and Dave began to put their energies into getting him to a healthy weight.
